From its construction in the 1860s until shortly before Leighton’s death, his studio house was a constant pre-occupation and combined spaces for living, working, entertaining and the display of Leighton’s collections.
Leighton House was recently re-opened by HM King Charles III, following a multi-million pound restoration. We shall enjoy a guided tour lasting 90 minutes and taking us through the lavish interiors, including the magnificent Arab Hall and the recently restored Winter Studio, offering fascinating insights into the life and career of Frederic Leighton and the history of the house itself.
